ALUMINUM BODY:

  • Compartments fabricated from 1/8" aluminum, stitch welded inside, solid welded out
  • 3" aluminum channel cross sills on 16" centers
  • 3" x 3/8" aluminum flat bar long sills
  • 1/8" aluminum checker plate floor inside body center
  • Extruded aluminum checker plate floor inside body center
  • 1/8" aluminum checker plate stone guards installed on both front corners of body
  • Heavy duty rear tail gate reinforced to b used as a work bench
  • Heavy duty 8" rear bumper, covered with 3/16" aluminum checker plate, mounted dependent to body
  • Fuel spouts recessed as per DOT regulations
  • Aluminum, full length drip rail moldings above compartments doors
  • One set of rear bumpers
  • All welds and edges are cleaned and dressed to remove weld splatter, sharp edges and mill scale
  • All bolts are cadmium plated or stainless steel
  • All nuts are nylock style


STEEL BODY:

  • Compartments fabricated from satin coat (galvanealled) steel, stitch weld inside, solid welded out
  • 3" mild steel channel iron cross sills on 16" centers
  • 3" X 1/2" mild steel flat bar OR 3" channel iron main sills depending on truck style
  • 1/8" steel checker plate floor inside body center
  • Heavy duty rear tail gate reinforced to be used as a work bench
  • Heavy duty 8" rear bumper, covered with 3/16'' steel checker plate, mounted dependent to body
  • Fuel spouts recessed as per DOT regulations
  • Aluminum, full length drop tail moldings above compartments doors
  • One set of rear mud flaps
  • All welds and edges are cleaned and dressed to remove weld splatter, sharp edges and mill scale
  • All bolts are cadmium plated or stainless steel
  • All nuts are nylock style


COMPARTMENT DOORS:

  • 1/8" aluminum single panel compartment doors fabricated from 5052 aluminum alloy
  • Extruded aluminum frames
  • Automotive style, hollow bulb, snap in rubber bulb seals
  • Plastic coated aircraft cable door checks
  • Stainless steel hinges on all doors
  • Polished stainless steel 3-point "T" handle door locks with rattle proof rods and lock cylinders
  • All doors are keyed alike


LIGHTS:

  • Tail, Stop, Signal, Back-up, clearance and license plate lights complete with reflectors to comply with DOT specifications
  • Tail lights and back-up lights are sealed beam "trucklite" style either oval or round
  • All wiring used is double insulated Ultraflex trailer cable
  • All electrical connections are soldered and covered with heat shrink
  • All wiring is securely fastened to body using neoprene clamps


PAINT:

  • Complete body is treated for dissimilar metals
  • Complete body goes through a metal etching and phosphate coating process
  • Compartment interiors are painted "zero rust" gray with rust resistant enamel except aluminum which is left natural (Unless otherwise requested
  • Body exterior is primed with one coat of primer, covered with two coats of acrylic urethane paint.
  • (Any color match requiring a base coat / clear coat match of chassis and body will be additional charge)
  • Complete underside of body including wheel wells and boxes are undercoated black
  • All seams are caulked with 3M #222 or equivalent compound


INSTALLATION & WARRANTY:

  • Complete installation at Deluxe Truck Body in Edmonton Alberta on customer supplied suitable clean cab and chassis
  • One year warranty on materials and workmanship
  • Three year warranty on rusted through body panels
